Many thanks to Sylvan. Also special thanks to Todd for the much appreciated ride and to him and Chris both for exceptional company on the trip.

Sylvan: you may wish to post the jig I saw for putting a dovetail mortise in a neck block (prior to side assembly). It was one of those elegant, simple jigs that everyone dreams of coming up with. I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the gentleman that conceived it, especially after we had such a great talk about it.

Thanks to John for the demo's and to all for good companionship and sharing of information, etc.

Todd -
I wil post photos, etc. of the mortise cutting setup the next time I use it. It is
always enlightening to actually see the fixture in use!
As for the dovetail mortise jigging that was not mine - I believe it was Jim
Hall's. Jim, if it was yours how about posting some photos?
